Our Chlorella Foaming Bath Butter Cleanser combines the rich, whipped lather of Megan’s Miracle Foaming Bath Butter with Chlorella Extract, Snow Mushroom Polysaccharides, Vitamin E, and ingredients straight from the beehive.

A small amount transforms into a thick, bubbly lather that can be used on the face, body, scalp, and hair. The formula has a naturally earthy green appearance and a soft whipped texture that looks almost like whipped cream in the jar.

But what really makes this bath butter different is the Chlorella.

WHAT IS CHLORELLA?

Chlorella is a tiny, single-celled green microalga that has attracted growing attention in cosmetic and skin-care research because of the wide range of naturally occurring compounds it contains.

Chlorella can contain proteins, amino acids, fatty acids, pigments, polysaccharides, vitamins, minerals, and other bioactive compounds. These naturally occurring components are part of the reason researchers have become increasingly interested in Chlorella as a functional ingredient for topical formulations.

One of the biggest areas of interest is oxidative stress.

Oxidative stress occurs when reactive molecules known as free radicals overwhelm the body’s natural antioxidant defenses. In the skin, oxidative stress can be associated with environmental exposure and some of the visible changes we commonly associate with aging.

Research involving Chlorella extracts has demonstrated antioxidant activity, including studies showing reduced oxidative stress in human dermal fibroblasts exposed to UVA-related damage.

Chlorella has also been studied for anti-inflammatory activity and for its effects on pathways involved in cellular aging.

Recent laboratory research involving Chlorella polysaccharide extract found antioxidant and anti-inflammatory activity and examined its effects on signaling pathways associated with skin aging. Other research using senescent human fibroblasts has investigated Chlorella extract for its relationship with mitochondrial function and type I collagen production.

That combination makes Chlorella a fascinating ingredient for modern skin-care formulations—and the reason we wanted to bring it into its own Megan’s Miracle product line.

Our Chlorella Foaming Bath Butter also contains Tremella Fuciformis Polysaccharides — our Snow Mushroom Polysaccharides — along with Vitamin E and several ingredients from the beehive:

Snow Mushroom Polysaccharides are included for their skin-conditioning and water-binding properties, while Vitamin E adds another antioxidant component to the formula.

Then we combine those ingredients with the apitherapy-inspired ingredients Megan’s Miracle is known for.

Instead of creating an ordinary algae cleanser, we built a formula around Chlorella + Snow Mushroom Polysaccharides + Vitamin E + Bee Venom + Honey + Royal Jelly + Propolis + Pollen.

The result is a cleanser with a very different ingredient profile from a traditional soap or body wash.

It’s thick, creamy, and whipped—almost like frosting or whipped cream in the jar. Add water and a small amount turns into a generous, bubbly lather.

Use it on the face, body, scalp, or hair, either with your hands or with a wet loofah, sponge, or bath gloves.

DIRECTIONS

The first time you use this product, we recommend applying a small amount to a section of your arm first.

For regular use, massage a small amount into a wet loofah, sponge, or bath gloves to create a generous lather. Massage onto the scalp/hair, face, and body.

Allow the lather to remain on the skin for 1–2 minutes if desired, then rinse thoroughly with water.

A little goes a long way — this formula gets very bubbly and produces lots of foam!
