Shaving Tips

Shaving Tips for you're "Behind the Ears Sessions" throughout recovery of Morgellons Disease.

Tips

As you begin shaving behind your ears you may or may not notice debris beginning to come off as the vibrations begin breaking the connections. If you don’t see much coming off, That’s okay.

It will take time before you see or have any significant results. Repetition is key.

To monitor your progress I suggest you get in the habit of dry shaving over your sink or somewhere you can easily catch the debris that falls out, below you-whenever you are working behind your ears. Unless you are shaving your ears during one of your in shower sessions, of course.

Shaving over your sink helps prevent any organisms that you shave out, from falling all over you or your belongings(not all of them will land perfectly in your sink.. And this is okay. You can’t get re-infected by something you are already infected with. Just do your best. By the end of your journey, you’ll realize how little of a difference this makes anyway)

When you are finished working behind your ears… Just use a damp paper towel to wipe the surface around the area you were shaving and dispose of the paper towel in the trash. Rinse any remaining debris down the sink(using a sink with a garbage disposal is ideal).

Then, get your razor prepped for your next behind the ears session.

Remove the blade from your electric razor, and use a damp paper towel to wipe away the majority of sticky debris from it. (Again, you're not going to be able to get your blade 100% Morgellons free and this is okay.)

Next, drop the razor blade in a disposable cup filled with 2” of hydrogen peroxide to disinfect your blade or any other disinfecting solution of your choice. And, let it sit in the solution for 30 minutes up to over night. Change out disinfecting solution and cup as you see fit. Then, remove the blade from the disinfectant and dry off with a dry paper towel.

After that, Use a new damp paper towel to wipe the rest of your razor clean. And, don’t forget to plug in your razor when you're finished so it’s charged up and ready to go for your next shave session!

If you don’t plan on showering after your shave session.. you should use Megan’s Miracle Soap to wash your hands and face after each shave session... at a minimum. Otherwise, you may experience itchy irritated skin throughout the rest of the day.

It’s best to start out slow and work your way up to longer shave sessions. Otherwise, you can end up with uncomfortable, irritated skin and/or sores behind the ear. It’s important not to overdo it because you still need to be able to shave again tomorrow. So keep the pain level to a minimum and use caution to avoid injury whenever possible.

Of course, mistakes are going to happen. You’ll learn as you go. Just take it 1 day at a time. And always listen to your body and what it is telling you.
